O’s Notes: This piano trio is lead by Broadbent with Brian Bromberg on bass and Joe Labarbera on drums. While each of these musicians is top notch, the piano stands out. You may be familiar with Alan’s work as an arranger of big band charts for singers like Mel Torme and Natalie Cole. In this small ensemble the sound is still full and larger than expected from a trio. They open with the title track that sets the stage for a warm, rich and relaxing set. There are seven tunes that invite the audience to listen closely and enjoy!
