O’s Notes: Kermit (t, vocals) is back with his band the Barbecue Swingers making more of that jovial Basin Street sound. The program consists New Orleans classics with a couple of Ruffins’ originals. We liked the brass blend on “Hey Look Me Over” and the light calypso of “If I Only Had A Brain”. We sang along on “High Hopes” and were ready to dance on “Shine”. Happy Talk is an appropriate title!
