O’s Notes: This is one of the best a Capella bands ever. They incorporate instrumentation into their mix but only by voice. Check out “The Sugarplum Dance” for a taste! They tackle ten familiar holiday tunes with really fresh arrangements that could work as solid entertainment 365 days! Listen to the calypso beats of “White Christmas”. They swing on “Sleigh Ride” and give us a little doo-woo on “I’ll be Home For Christmas” then wrap up the disc with warm harmony on “Christmas Time is Here”. Yes you have many Christmas albums and maybe even one by Take 6 already. This one is different and appreciable. Put it in your stocking or better yet buy it early to get into the mood! Look for it on October 5th!
