O’s Notes: These five tracks were originally recorded in 1980. The band was packed with talent including Hubert Laws (flute), Slide Hampton (tb), Ron Carter (b), Jack DeJohnette (d) and Airto (percussion). The music selections are symphonic with a nice dose of brass, sometimes with peaceful moods as on “Search For Peace” and sometimes cool but racy like on “Love Samba”. The dynamics from Tyner’s piano characterize his powerful style.
